Performance and ceremony
Vestdalsfossar, Seyðisfjörður, Iceland; 2023
Materials: Found and foraged material (fabric, bedsheets, silk robe, metal scraps, wool, lyme grass, seaweed, rope, fish net)
An exercise in carrying, expulsion, release—a small procession from central Seyðisfjörður to Vestdalsfossar through a snowstorm, a collective ceremony upon the slopes of a hill, a cleansing rush of water at the mouth of the river delta into the fjord.
